Watch a live show while cruising down the Oklahoma River. If a live wild west themed show isn’t your thing than consider a specialty cruise, a cocktail cruise, or a haunting ghost themed cruise. This is a fun museum. You’ll be transported to another day and time when our country was much younger and expanding westward. 4. Explore Together Like Kids At The Science Museum of Oklahoma
Sure you could take your kids with you to this one…but just like Disney World…sometimes it’s best to let mom and dad have the fun! Enjoy the chemistry between you as you explore the science experiments. Don’t forget to explore upstairs too! They have a planetarium, live shows, and over 8 acres of hands on fun. 5. Get To 3rd Base With Your Spouse At Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark
You’ve got our permission to display too much PDA while being featured on the kissing cam…just don’t get arrested LOL! One unique aspect of this baseball stadium is it’s constructed of brick. Some say it’s just as beautiful as many professional baseball stadiums. Since the stadium is in Bricktown there are many other places to be entertained and eat within walking distance from the stadium. 6. Walk On The Wild Side At The Oklahoma City Zoo
Located right next to the Science Museum of Oklahoma you’ll find one of the best zoos in the U.S. Stroll along the many large shady trees as you admire the wild life. Or you can ride the train around the park while you sit side by side. See everybody’s favorites the prairie dogs and pet the sting rays! The zoo is always expanding so you can go back again and again to see more unique exhibits. They have a neat animal care facility that you can tour as well. 7. Gaze At All The Beauty At The Oklahoma City Museum of Art
Walk hand in hand in the quiet and peaceful museum of art. Permanent works of art include glass artwork by artist Dale Chihuly with changing special exhibitions from other noted artists during the year. 8. Stroll Through The Flowers And Greenery At The Myriad Botanical Gardens
Fifteen acres of natural landscape in the heart of downtown OKC. Imagine grabbing a lovely dinner or lunch and then spontaneously walking through a lovely garden. Stop to take a horticulture class where you make your lovely bride or groom a planter just for them to take home and think you and the fun date you went on. The gardens include a children’s area, a dog park, splash pads for kids, and walking paths. 9. Catch A Show Or Live Music At The Chesapeake Energy Arena
No list of fun things to do in OKC would be complete if it didn’t include the Arena. You can experience live music, sporting events, laugh together with world class comedians, and more. 10. Endless Entertainment In OKC’s Bricktown
Feel young again as you find yourself strolling down the lit brick lain street. Catch a boat ride, a movie, and dinner. 11. Dance The Night Away With A Fun Ballroom Class
This is a great way to get close and learn something fun and spicy together! Take a ballroom dance class and learn about your partner at new level. As an ex-semi-professional dancer I recommend starting with a simple rumba class if you’re a beginner. 12. Ride High On The Wheeler Ferris Wheel
Oh this looks like the coolest outing! Get a great look at the skyline of downtown OKC with the historic Santa Monica Pier Ferris Wheel. It’s a special opportunity to create new romantic memories any day or night. Pack a special picnic meal and a checkered blanket to enjoy an outdoor picnic. 13. Stroll In The Beautiful Will Rogers Park
Plant something lasting together if you take a horticulture class at this lovely park. Enjoy the nature, see turtles, ducks, fish, geese, and squirrels too. A super fun spontaneous date would be food truck hopping. Food trucks are mobile restaurants with exceptional food! 15. Adventure Seekers Rafting Adventures!
This is one of the COOLEST attractions you can do in Oklahoma hands down. If you live in Tulsa this would be something to travel for. This is white water rafting in Oklahoma. You can go on a rafting adventure or you can do what they call a floating film which looks like a ton of fun. This may not be a good date if your pregnant and you’ll want to check the website for the dress code…but if you like zip lining, paddle boarding, or rafting this would be so much fun!
